The event selection mechanism of MOBOTIX cameras provides an event filter that quite efficiently allows you to restrict actions and messages to selected events only.
Note: The factory default setting for most filters is All, meaning that the respective functions (start recording or actions) are performed for all events.
Recording (REC)
Open the Recording dialog to select the desired events in the Start Recording section for recording.
Depending on the camera model, you can also set specific events for retriggering events and for stopping the recording.
Action Chaining
The detail view of an action group defined in the Action Group Overview dialog allows selecting different events in the Event Selection section. The camera performs the defined actions only if one of the selected events occurs.
In addition, you can also select specific events in the Event Filter and the Event Logic dialogs. In these dialogs, only the basic events can be selected.
